Business Partner Registration Screen

Description

The Business Partner Registration screen is part of the Business Partner Registration subsystem and is used to register any business partner who wishes to perform non-public functions within ECMS. There are five tabs where the potential Business Partner enters optional and required information. The Business Partner Registration screen is accessed by clicking the Register button after selecting Registration from Business Partner in the navigation panel. The General Info tab appears as the default. Public users can access the Business Partner Registration screen.

Fields

Field Name	State	Description
		These fields are default displayed under the General Info tab.
Business Partner Name	Editable – Required	The Business Partner Name field is used to enter the name of the business. This is a required field.
Federal ID Number (FID)	Editable – Required	The Federal ID Number (FID) field is used to enter the FID of the business. This is a nine (9) digit field and is required.
Phone Number	Editable – Required	The Phone Number field is used to enter the phone number of the business. This is a required field.
Fax Number	Editable – Optional	The Fax Number field is used to enter the fax number of the business.
Email	Editable – Required	The Email field is used to enter the email address of the business. This email address will be used to send the approval or rejection.
Doing Business As	Editable – Required	The list of available Business Partner types. Select one or more checkboxes to indicate what type(s) of Business Partner you want to register as.
		These fields are default displayed under the Legal Address tab.
Address 1	Editable – Required	The Address 1 field is used to enter the legal address of the business. This is a required field.
Address 2	Editable – Optional	The Address 2 field is used to enter another address line of the business.
Address 3	Editable – Optional	The Address 3 field is used to enter another address line of the business.
City	Editable – Required	The City field is used to enter the city of the business. This is a required field.
State	Editable – Required	The State field is used to enter the state of the business. This is a required field.
Zip Code	Editable – Required	The Zip code field is used to enter the zip code of the business. This is a required field.
Zip +4	Editable – Optional	The Zip+4 field is used to enter the additional four digits of the business zip code.
		These fields are default displayed under the Mailing Address tab.
Same as Legal	Editable - Optional	The Same as Legal checkbox field is used if the mailing address of the business is the same as the legal address.
Address 1	Editable – Required	The Address 1 field is used to enter the legal address of the business. This is a required field.
Address 2	Editable – Optional	The Address 2 field is used to enter another address line of the business.
Address 3	Editable – Optional	The Address 3 field is used to enter another address line of the business.
City	Editable – Required	The City field is used to enter the city of the business. This is a required field.
State	Editable – Required	The State field is used to enter the state of the business. This is a required field.
Zip Code	Editable – Required	The Zip code field is used to enter the zip code of the business. This is a required field.
Zip +4	Editable – Optional	The Zip+4 field is used to enter the additional four digits of the business zip code.
		These fields are default displayed under the Administrator Info tab.
First Name	Editable – Required	The First Name field is used to enter the first name of the business administrator. This is a required field.
Middle Initial	Editable – Optional	The Middle Initial field is used to enter the middle initial of the business administrator.
Last Name	Editable – Required	The Last Name field is used to enter the last name of the business administrator.
Phone Number	Editable – Required	The Phone Number field is used to enter the phone number of the business administrator.
Ext	Editable – Optional	The Ext field is used to enter the extension number of the business administrator.
Fax Number	Editable – Optional	The Fax Number field is used to enter the fax number of the business administrator.
Email	Editable – Required	The Email field is used to enter the email address of the business administrator. This is a required field.
		These fields are default displayed under the Authorized Signatory tab.
Signatory Name	Editable – Required	The Signatory Name field is used to enter the name of the authorized signatory for the business. This is a required field.
Signatory Title	Editable – Required	The Signatory Title field is used to enter the title of the authorized signatory for the business. This is a required field.
Signatory Phone Number	Editable – Optional	The Signatory Phone Number field is used to enter the phone number of the signatory.
Ext	Editable – Optional	The Ext field is used to enter the extension number of the signatory.
Attested by Name	Editable – Required	The Attested by Name field is used to enter the name of the person who attested the registration. This is a required field.
Attested by Title	Editable – Required	The Attested by Title field is used to enter the title of the Attested. This is a required field.
Attested by Phone Number	Editable – Optional	The Attested by Phone Number field is used to enter the phone number of the attested.
Ext	Editable – Optional	The Ext field is used to enter the extension number of the attested.

Actions

Action	Description
Click on General Info tab	When the user clicks on the General Info, it will bring up fields to enter the Business Partner information.
Click on Legal Address tab	When the user clicks on the Legal Address, it will bring up fields to enter the Legal Address.
Click on Mailing Address tab	When the user clicks on the Mailing Address, it will bring up fields to enter the Mailing Address.
Click on Administrator Info tab	When the user clicks on Administrator Information, it will bring up fields to enter the Administrator Information.
Click on Authorized Signatory tab	When the user clicks on the Authorized Signatory, it will bring up fields to enter the Authorized Signatory information.
Click on ECMS Business Partner Registration Form Icon	When the user clicks on the Business Partner Registration Form Icon, the Agreement to Authorize Electronic Access to PENNDOT systems will be displayed in Adobe Acrobat.
Right-click on ECMS Business Partner Registration form icon	When the user right-clicks on the Business Partner Registration Form Icon, a menu will be displayed for the user to save the target.
Click on Back button	When the user clicks the Back button, the previous page shown will be displayed.
Click on Submit button	When the user clicks Submit, if all required fields are filled in, the user will get the message “The document was saved successfully”.
