Business Partner Office Screen

Description

The Business Partner Office screen is part of the Business Partner subsystem and is used to create and view Business Partner offices. The Business Partner Office screen provides part of the Business Partner Registration functionality and is accessed from the Business Partner Info function under the Business Partner category on the navigation pane. The PENNDOT user that can view or delete the Business Partner office can access it from the Business Partner function under the Business Partner category on the navigation panel. The Business Partner Office screen can be accessed by authorized user groups. The authorized groups can create an office and modify office information. The authorized groups can delete an office.

Fields

Field Name	State	Description
Business Partner Name	Protected – Read Only	The Business Partner Name field is used to enter the name of the business. This is a required field. This field may be changed in edit mode by authorized PENNDOT users.
Federal ID Number (FID)	Protected – Read Only	The Federal ID Number (FID) field is used to enter the FID of the business. This is a nine (9) digit field and is required.
Business Partner ID	Protected – Read Only	The Business Partner ID field displays the ID of the Business Partner.
Office Name	Editable – Required	The Office Name field is used to enter a name for the Business Partner office.
		These fields are default displayed under the Office Address tab.
Address 1	Editable – Required	The Address 1 field is used to enter the address for the Business Partner office.
Address 2	Editable – Optional	The Address 2 field is used to enter more address information for the Business Partner office if needed.
Address 3	Editable – Optional	The Address 3 field is used to enter more address information for the Business Partner office if needed.
City	Editable – Required	The City field is used to enter the City of the Business Partner Office.
State	Editable – Required	The State field is used to select the state of the Business Partner office.
Zip Code	Editable – Required	The Zip Code field is used to enter the zip code of the Business Partner office.
Zip +4	Editable – Optional	The Zip +4 field is used to enter the additional four digits of the Business Partner office zip code.
		These fields are default displayed under the Office Contact tab.
Contact Name	Editable – Required	The Contact Name field is used to enter the contact name of the Business Partner office.
Contact Phone Number	Editable – Required	The Contact Phone Number field is used to enter the phone number of the Business Partner office contact.
Contact Fax Number	Editable – Optional	The Contact Fax Number field is used to enter the fax number of the Business Partner office contact.
Contact Email	Editable – Optional	The Contact Email field is used to enter the email address of the Business Partner office contact.

Actions

Action	Description
	Note: The following identifies all possible buttons, links and check boxes that may appear for this screen. However they may not ALL appear depending on the sequence of events and the authority of the user.
Back button clicked	When the user clicks the Back button, the previous page viewed will be displayed.
Save & Exit button clicked	When the user clicks the Save & Exit button, any changes will be saved. PENNDOT users will not view this button.
Edit button clicked	When the user clicks the Edit button, the Business Partner Office screen will be displayed in Edit mode. PENNDOT users will not view this button.
Delete button clicked	When the user clicks the Delete button, the Business Partner Office will be deleted.
