This function allows PENNDOT to assign Consultant users to the Project Team to perform construction functions in the same manner as their PENNDOT counterparts. For example, the team member role &quot;Construction ACE&quot; has exactly the same authorities for his/her project as a PENNDOT &quot;ACE/M&quot; who is assigned to a project team. The following Consultant Construction Management team member roles are available on the Project Team:

<li>Consultant ACE/M</li>
<li>Consultant Work Order Specialist</li>
<li>Consultant Work Order Support Services</li>
<li>Consultant Construction Team Member.</li>
</ul>
<p>These roles may be assigned to a business partner user who has been established with the user group $ECMSBP CONSULTANT CONSTRUCTION MGMT or the existing user group $ECMSBP CONSULTANT INSPECTOR, and whose BPID has been selected as the &quot;Construction Management&quot; business partner on the Project Team.<br /><br />None of these roles may be assigned until the project is in Pre-Construction status. As the first step in assigning these users, an authorized PENNDOT user (e.g., ADE/ADM for Construction) must access the Project Team screen when the project is in Pre-Construction status or beyond and choose one or more Business Partners in the &quot;Construction Management&quot; field on the Project Team screen. Once that is done, an authorized PENNDOT user (e.g., ADE/ADM for Construction or ACE/M) can assign users associated with the Construction Management business partner(s) to the Consultant Construction Management team member roles.<br /><br />When Consultant Construction project team members are assigned to a project, all of the construction functions available to their PENNDOT counterparts, including automatic email notifications from the system, are available to them, with the exception of the final approval of work orders.</p>

Description

This function allows PENNDOT to assign Consultant users to the Project Team to perform construction functions in the same manner as their PENNDOT counterparts. For example, the team member role "Construction ACE" has exactly the same authorities for his/her project as a PENNDOT "ACE/M" who is assigned to a project team. The following Consultant Construction Management team member roles are available on the Project Team:

These roles may be assigned to a business partner user who has been established with the user group $ECMSBP CONSULTANT CONSTRUCTION MGMT or the existing user group $ECMSBP CONSULTANT INSPECTOR, and whose BPID has been selected as the "Construction Management" business partner on the Project Team.

None of these roles may be assigned until the project is in Pre-Construction status. Step-by-Step Directions

Open your browser software and access the ECMS Welcome page. The ECMS Welcome page is displayed with the navigation bar on the left.
Using the Registered Users Login fields at the top of the navigation bar, enter your user ID and password. Click GO or tap the Enter key. The ECMS Welcome page appears. Your user name now appears at the top of the navigation bar, and the navigation bar options are tailored to your security group(s).
From the navigation bar, select the Project Services option. The Project Services options available to your user group are displayed.

Note: You can also access the Project Team screen via the My Projects option under Contractor Services. In addition, most screens contain a link to the Project Team screen in the header.

Select the Project Home Page option beneath Project Services on the navigation bar. The Projects home page is displayed.
Enter search criteria, for example, the Project Number and click the SEARCH FOR PROJECTS button. The Projects list is displayed and includes all projects matching your search criteria.
Select "Project Team" from the Destination Screen drop-down list and click the Project Number hyperlink for the desired project. The Project Team screen is displayed in read mode.
