This screen is part of the Electronic Bidding subsystem and displays the asphalt cement, diesel fuel, and bituminous plant mix/liquid bituminous price indexes for the selected month. The screen can be accessed in read mode from the Asphalt Price List or the Diesel Price List. Authorized users can create the price list for a specific month by clicking the Maintain Asphalt/Diesel Index link on the Electronic Bidding home page.
<p>Asphalt cement prices are listed by districts, which are contained in zones 1,2, and 3. The price index is broken into Price Per Ton and Price Per Tonne (a metric ton). Diesel prices are broken into Per Gallon and Per Liter. Bituminous plant mix/liquid bituminous is broken into Base/Ton and Base/Gallon contained in the above-mentioned zones. A calculated monthly price adjustment multiplier is also listed for the three zones. In edit mode, an authorized user may create new asphalt cement and diesel fuel price indexes for a particular month. A Price Per Ton amount is entered for the asphalt cement and Per Gallon for the diesel fuel. The calculations for the Price Per Tonne and Per Liter are performed automatically when the corresponding Price Per Ton and Per Gallon fields are populated. The system automatically calculates the monthly prices for Zone 2 by averaging the prices entered for Zones 1 and 3.<br /><br />All users, including the anonymous public, can view the asphalt and diesel price index screen by clicking on either the Asphalt Price or Diesel Price link on the Electronic Bidding Home Page, click on the Month/Year link and then the Asphalt Cement and Diesel Fuel Price Indexes screen is displayed in read mode. Authorized users will have edit mode capabilities for any Month/Year information that is still in Draft mode. Once Published, the data is no longer editable.&nbsp; Published bid packages also contain links to this screen for the month/year of the scheduled let date.<br /></p>
