Open your browser software and access the ECMS Welcome page. |
The ECMS Welcome page is displayed with the navigation bar on the right. |
Using the Registered Users Login fields at the top of the navigation bar, enter your user ID and password. Click GO or tap the Enter key. |
The ECMS Welcome page appears. Your user name now appears at the top of the navigation bar, and the navigation bar options are tailored to your security group(s). |
From the navigation bar, select the Project Services option. |
The Project Services options available to your user group are displayed.
Note: To access this function from the My Projects screen, click My Projects under Contractor Services on the navigation bar then select the project, choose "Project Development Checklist" from the Go links and click the GO button.

Select the Project Home Page option from beneath Project Services on the navigation bar. |
The Project Home Page is displayed. |
Enter search criteria, for example, the Project Number, in the Search field(s) and click the SEARCH FOR PROJECTS button. |
The Projects list containing the search results is displayed. |
Choose "Project Development Checklist" from the Select Destination Screen drop-down list. |
The value you selected appears in the field. |
Click the Project Number hyperlink on the Projects list page. |
The Project Development Checklist screen for the project is displayed in read mode. |
Use the down arrow at the upper left of the screen display to jump to the bottom of the screen. |
The lower portion of the screen is displayed. |
Click the EDIT button. |
The screen switches to edit mode. |
Select "Add Plans" from the Add links and click the ADD button. |
The Add Plans screen is displayed. Initially, the "Select Items to be Added" list is empty. |
Click the selection arrow next to the "Select Items to be Added" field. |
A pop-up screen is displayed with a list of plan names. |
Select the plan checklist item or items you want to clicking the 'X' in front of the plan name. |
The selections are moved to the "Selected Items" list box.
Tip: To select a series of consecutive items, hold down the keyboard SHIFT key and click the first and the last entry in the list. To select a series of nonconsecutive entries, hold down the keyboard CTRL key and click each item.

Click the OK button. |
The pop-up screen closes, and you are returned to the Add Plan screen with the selected items shown in the "Select Items to be Added" list.
Note: You can remove one or more items from the list by clicking the selection arrow and making the desired changes on the pop-up screen, then clicking the OK button.

When you are satisfied with the list of plans, click the SAVE&EXIT button. |
A 'please wait' message is displayed. When processing is complete, a 'successful' message is displayed. |
Click OK on the message box. |
The message box closes, and the Project Development Checklist screen is displayed. The screen has been refreshed, and the plan item(s) you added are displayed beneath either the "Plan" or "Supplemental Plans" category. |
Access the detail screens for the newly added plan checklist items by clicking the appropriate hyperlink. |
The checklist detail screen you selected is displayed.
Note: The checklist items are listed in alphabetical order on the Project Development Checklist under the Plans or Supplemental Plans category.

Complete any required data entry and link an EDMS file, if desired. When you are finished, click the SAVE & EXIT button. |
A 'please wait' message is displayed. When processing is complete, a 'successful' message is displayed. |
Click OK on the message box. |
The message box closes, and the Project Development Checklist screen is displayed.
Note: If you are adding the plan item(s) via the Addendum process, you can continue adding or modifying Project Development Checklist items for the addendum, or return to the Addendum screen.
