View an Announcement or News Item

<BLOCKQUOTE>The View Announcements and News function is part of the Common Functions subsystem and is used to view existing announcement or news items. This function can be accessed by clicking on the Announcements & News link on the ECMS Welcome page, or by selecting the Announcements&News option under the References option on the navigation bar.

Select the Announcements & News link at the bottom of the Welcome text The Announcements and News home page is displayed.

Select the Latest Announcements and News by Date link The Latest Announcements and News by Date view is displayed. Announcement and news items are listed by date in descending order (newest to oldest). Items posted within the last 7 days appear with the NEW icon. Items posted more than 31 days in the past are not listed.
