General Information

Summary:
The webinar will cover the use of, Design requirements of, and findings from the Evaluation of the Thin Hot Mix Overlay (6.3mm NMAS mixtures) research project. The goal of this project was to evaluate performance and create a draft specification for the Department to use in the development of a new specification for thin 6.3 mm NMAS asphalt overlay projects.

Learning Outcomes:
- Be able to describe the uses for 6.3 mm asphalt.
- Be able to specify 6.3 mm asphalt on appropriate projects.
- Be familiar with the limitations of 6.3 mm asphalt.
- Be familiar with the research conclusions of the research project conducted on 6.3 mm asphalt.
