General Information

Summary:
Recent changes in PA Code, Title 25, Environmental Protection Chapter 102 were related to stormwater management, erosion and sediment control (E&S), and riparian buffers. The changes impacted the number of future NPDES permit submissions by PennDOT and stormwater and E&S plans. This webinar centers on the regulatory changes affecting PennDOT. The webinar will focus, specifically, on Chapter 102 background, and stormwater regulations affecting PennDOT. Additionally, the webinar will address the NPDES permits as related to earth disturbance, road maintenance and bridge projects over waterways. The webinar will also address new requirements for riparian buffers.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the attendee will be able to:
•Explain the regulatory changes affecting PennDOT.
•Ascertain whether a project requires an NPDES permit based on the types and extent of construction activities.
