General Information

Summary:
This course will introduce surveyors to the latest version of the Bentley CADD software deployed Department wide. This course will cover the updated user interface and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) drafting fundamentals. In addition this module of training will cover aspects related to surveying such as Survey Note Remover, Importing Field Data, Editing Survey Data, Creating Terrain Models, Traverse Adjustments, Deed
Plots and Survey Alignment Fundamentals.

Learning Outcomes:
After completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Set up an OpenRoads Project
- Survey Note Remover
- Import electronic survey data from a data collector
- Review and edit survey data
- Correct problems in survey data
- Creating Terrain Models from Field Books
- Creating Terrain Models from LiDAR
- Traverse Adjustments
- Plot Deeds
- Survey Alignment Fundamentals
