General Information

Summary:
This Program will give a comprehensive overview of Recycled Asphalt Paving. It includes planning, equipment, manpower, design, techniques, along with work sessions and examples.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
: Give general knowledge of the history of RAP and what it has and can be used for.
: To determine if using a Recycled Asphalt Pavement makes sense for your specific needs based on a number of factors.
: Identify all resources needed.
: Properly plan a Recycled Asphalt Paving Operation.
: Basic Design of material.
: Execution of the plan.
: Identify and overcome potential hurdles to be successful.

Target Audience:
Recommended for all County Maintenance Managers, Assistant County Maintenance Managers, Highway Foreman (involved in paving and other asphalt production work), District Pavement Engineers, and One (1) additional District or County staff per district.
