General Information

Summary:	The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will host a 2 day instructor-led training workshop on the AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design software (formerly DARWin-ME). The workshop will provide an overview of the software and actual hands-on demonstration of several design situations including flexible and rigid design and overlay scenarios. This is the next generation of pavement computational software and is a production-ready software tool to support the day-to-day operations of public and private pavement engineers.
Learning Outcomes:	With hands-on training you will be able to see and experiment with the software to fully understand the change in the methods and procedures engineers use to design pavement structures.
Teaching Method:	The hands-on PC workshop is two days followed by a one day follow-up implementation plan meeting. These are all instructor lead.
