General Information

Summary:
The training will provide basic information about asbestos and its hazards. The training will also help you to identify possible asbestos hazards within the workplace. The training is not intended to qualify you to remove or work with asbestos-containing materials.

Learning Outcomes:
Participants will learn the following after attending or taking the training:
- Identify asbestos
- Know the health impacts
- Recognize potential exposures
- Protect yourself from exposure

Employees that work at the Materials Test Lab (BOPD/ISSD Sections) that potentially handle materials containing NOA.
