General Information

Summary:
This class is intended for experienced employees who work in the Negotiations and Relocation areas, and who may need to feel more confident in their knowledge of the regulations that govern their areas of responsibility. One major topic of the course is complex relocation situations such as the factors that complicate the selection of comparable dwellings, multiple occupancy situations, carve outs, the displacement of mobile home occupants, and housing of last resort(HLR).

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course, you should be able to:
-Determine a claimant's eligibility for relocation benifets.
-Associate the relocation benefits available to various classes of relocates.
-Compute complex replacement housing supplement offers and payments.
-Compute complex rent supplement offers and payments.
-Compute relocation payments for business.

Teaching Method:
Instructor Led

Prerequisites:
Basic Relocation Assistance course or equivalent experience.

Target Audience:
Primary audience is Right of Way Administrators, Real Estate Specialists, Real Estate Technicians and Right of Way Consultants. Secondary audience is Real Estate Appraisers, Chief Real Estate Appraisers, or Appraisal Reviewers.

Special Materials:
Students should bring a standard calculator to class.
