General Information

Summary:
This training is intended for PennDOT who participate as part of the District Incident Command Center (ICC). This overview training will provide you with necessary information and tools on how you should operate when you District is activated. This course provides high level guidance which can be supplemented by District specific directions of operations within the ICC.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
• Understand PennDOT’s ICC Structure
* Understand your roll with understanding ICC Situational Awareness
* When to consider implementing and lifting Restrictions (Speed and Vehicle)
* Understanding coordination with Country radio rooms and how that information is shared with Area Command.
* Maintaining and communicating awareness of an incident.
* Understanding and utilization of some of the Department's Traffic Operations tools.

Target Audience:
District ICC staff that is identified through your Assistant District Executive of Maintenance.
