General Information

Summary:
This course addresses the specific processes, procedures, and information required for Roadway Programs Coordinators (RPC) to perform their duties.

Learning Outcomes:
By attending this course, you will:
• Obtain a clear understanding of the responsibilities and expectations associated with the County RPC position.
• Become better aware of how the County RPC position ties in and supports the overall organization.
• Obtain enhanced proficiency in running and evaluating pertinent available Plant Maintenance and other reports.

Teaching Method:
Classroom instruction

Prerequisites:
Participants MUST have access to SAP Plant Maintenance including Business Warehouse as they will be using these systems during the Academy.
Recommended SAP roles are:
• Highway Long Term Planner
• Inventory Issuer
• Inventory Planner
• Physical Inventory Counter
• Plant Maintenance Business Warehouse

Target Audience:
PennDOT Employees Only.
Primary audience is NEW Roadway Programs Coordinators (RPC) with approximately one year of service or less. (RPCs who have attended this Academy in the past do not need to attend.) District Plant Maintenance Coordinators should be consulted on who is to attend.
If space is available after RPCs have been registered, a secondary audience includes Roadway Programs Specialists (RPSs) and Roadway Programs Technicians (RPTs) as long as the individual meets the minimum training and experience levels as stated in the Prerequisites section above.
