General Information

Summary:
This webinar will present 3 case studies regarding project delivery of complex pedestrian bridges funded by FHWA Tiger Grants. Two will address structural failures and probable causes. The identified gaps in the project delivery process are discussed. The third will present the project delivery process. It includes the key independent peer review for design and construction. This should be used for future complex pedestrian bridge projects.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the importance of an independent peer review for complex pedestrian bridge project with respect to design and construction
2. Understand the probable causes for structural failure of the two case studies presented.
