General Information

Summary:
Part of the bridge deck pilot projects that Districts are doing this summer is to apply aggregate optimization principles to the mix designs. This webinar is a discussion of benefits and issues related to the implementation of the specification that incorporates aggregate optimization of concrete mix designs.

Learning Outcomes:
1) Understand why PA has started requiring aggregate optimization.
2) Learn how to use the spread sheet tool.
3) Better understand what the most important parts of the specification are to enforce.
