Description:	Lesson 1 - Introduction and Overview - provides and introduction to the training module for Construction Stormwater Inspections (CSI) that PennDOT performs as part of its Compliance Management Program (CMP). It is mandatory for construction inspectors who perform visual site inspections of erosion and sediment pollution control measures on projects that require coverage under a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit for Discharges of Stormwater Associated with Construction Activities. Course Type Objectives Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to: Understand the purpose and learning outcomes of the overall CMP-CSI training module. Important Information: In order to receive credit for completion of the lesson, the participant must successfully answer one or more questions at the end of the lesson and (for consultants) follow instructions to submit their results to PennDOT.
