General Information

Summary:
This advanced course covers processing workflows of advance surveying procedures for projects utilizing Trimble Business Center.
 The course applies advanced concepts, applications, and recommended practices in an interactive environment.

Learning Outcomes:
 Attendees will have an advanced understand of TBC software, including:
o Network adjustments (Free, Minimally & Fully Constrained Adjustments)
o Positional Accuracy Determination…. Possibly entering PAMS Data
o How to get NGS or PennDOT CORS data for network adjustments
o GNSS, Traverse, Differential leveling network adjustments
o Horizontal & Vertical Alignments AND Deliverables/Reports
o Creating/Editing/Exporting Surfaces
o Stakeout Reports

Teaching Method:
Instructor-Led

Prerequisites:
Passing the Survey – TBC Basic TRAINING is required for individuals to attend this course.
Provide Training Transcript to RA-PDHighAdminTrain@pa.gov at least 10 days prior to class, for proof of prerequisites.
Must have Trimble Business Center Software v.5.7 installed on computer prior to class.

Special Materials:
-Two computer monitors is recommended so the attendee can visually follow along while preforming the same actions as the instructor.
-Trimble Business Center version 5.7 must be installed prior to this class.
