General Information

Summary:
Radiographic Testing – Level I focuses on the basics and fundamentals of Radiographic Testing (RT). The course includes classroom time as well as hands-on application of this Nondestructive testing technique. Training meets the minimum recommended for Level I technicians by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT).

Learning Outcomes:
This is a five (5) day course (40.0 hours). The intended audience for this course includes Upon successful completion of this course, participants will understand the fundamentals and application this testing technique; determine the limitations of Radiographic Testing; safely use Radiographic Testing equipment; safely witness Radiographic procedures, determine the materials that can be tested; determine the type of defects that can be detected; understand the theory and limitations of Radiographic testing.
