Description:
This webinar identifies the methods to avoid or minimize construction cost and time delays associated with complying with Pennsylvania’s Management of Fill (MoF) policy. A summary of the MoF Policy is provided, and tasks that should be completed during project design to facilitate construction planning and implementation are presented. Discussion will also identify information that should be requested of the contractor so that cost and options for excess fill disposal/reuse offsite is limited or minimized, and the documentation that should be required of the contractor for imported fill use. The considerations of beneficial reuse will be presented including interaction with PADEP, PennDOT reuse on another project, and documentation submission and retention. Project examples will be provided.
