General Information

Summary:
This training is intended for PennDOT who participate as part of the County Radio Rooms. This overview training will provide you with necessary information and tools on how you should operate the various traffic operations tools during winter operations. This course provides high level guidance which can be supplemented by District and/or County specific directions of operations.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
• Understand PennDOT’s ICC Structure
* Understand your roll with understanding ICC Situational Awareness
* Understanding and utilization of some of the Department's Traffic Operations tools.
* Understanding where to access public information through our 511PA website.

Target Audience:
County Radio operations staff or those that would be asked to perform that function during winter operations.
