Learning Outcomes: | Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: • Identify the information required for collection of Perishable Crash Data. • Complete the associated forms required for a Perishable Crash Data report. • Perform an in-field report to collect the actual Perishable Crash data.

Teaching Method: | Classroom plus in-field exercise

Prerequisites: | Knows PennDOT's operating procedures, understands roadway location parameters, follows PennDOT's safety rules, works independently and can make independent decisions, adapts easily to unique situations, and can use photographic equipment (digital camera).

Target Audience: | PennDOT employees only. Roadway Program Technicians, Roadway Program Coordinators, Highway Maintenance Foreman, Tort Liability Specialists, Civil Engineers, Traffic Control Specialists, Assistant County Managers, and District Risk Manager.

Special Materials: | Participants must wear a hard hat and safety vest during the in-field exercise.
