Summary:
Stormwater Control Measure (SCM) Maintenance Training
This training will prepare individuals to perform maintenance on Department-owned SCMs. Information is provided on the different types of SCMs that may be encountered in the field, including how each type functions; recognize problems and determine proper equipment for the maintenance tasks. Training includes a combination of classroom lectures and exercises that reinforce the learning outcome.

Learning Outcomes:
- Recognize various SCM types that are owned and operated by the Department and understand how each type functions.
- How to identify and track SCMs.
- Identify types of non-invasive and invasive vegetation.
- How to differentiate between routine and corrective maintenance activities.
- Identify work assemblies.
- Determine which type of equipment is proper for the maintenance task to be performed.
- Plan, prepare and conduct maintenance tasks.
