Summary: | This mandatory training course is for district construction and county maintenance staff that the District has indicated will be using the Mobile Guide Rail Collector application to inventory guide rail during the course of inspecting or performing guide rail installations, removals, upgrades, repairs (RAR). This course will provide a demonstration of and hands-on training with the Mobile Guide Rail Collector application as well as an overview of guide rail systems and end treatment types.

Learning Outcomes: | Following the completion of this course, participants will be able to: 1. Download and sign-in to the Mobile Guide Rail Collector App 2. Select guide rail assets currently inventoried in the Roadway Management System (RMS) from a GIS map 3. Identify the three main components of guide rail from an RMS inventory perspective (beginning end treatment, rail/cable/barrier system type, and ending end treatment) 4. Complete a Guide Rail Survey for guide rail work inspected or performed 5. Submit a completed Guide Rail Survey for inclusion into RMS

Target Audience: | The mandated list of attendees is vetted by the District ADEM, ADEC, and Central Office - Maintenance Performance Section. Attendees may include: TCIS's, TCI's, RPT I & II.
