General Information

Summary:	The conference covers current issues in roadside vegetation management and latest developments from the research program. Current roadside policies and standards are covered and may include: herbicide applications, tree removal, mowing, invasive species, noxious weeds, plant identification, roadside planning, vegetation management strategies and related subjects from other state agencies and organizations. District maintenance management and roadside personnel will benefit from attending the conference.
Learning Outcomes:	Apply Maintenance Manual policy to field operations. Utilize the best herbicides for their spray operations. Identify invasive and noxious weeds. Incorporate an integrated vegetation management (IVM) program into their roadside vegetation management programs. Develop vegetation management strategies to handle invasive/noxious weeds, tree/shrub encroachment and safety issues.
Target Audience:	Maintenance management and roadside personnel

Special Materials:	Attendees will be expected to dress appropriately for Field Activities on Wednesday, Day Two.
