General Information

Summary:
This workshop contains 3 modules: Communication, Conflict Resolution
and Negotiation skills. Each module is 3 hours in length taught over
3 days. Completion of this workshop satisfies the CET training
requirement.

Learning Outcomes:
At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Describe and demonstrate effective verbal and nonverbal communication
techniques.
Analyze and prepare for communication situations by answering four
simple questions.
Employ various strategies to build and maintain good work relationships
and to avoid communication breakdowns.
Resolve conflict using a framework that moves people to focus on "shared
interests."
Apply principled negotiation on the job.
