General Information

Summary:
This webinar will guide the participant through the ABCs of concrete repair, including the causes of concrete deterioration, owner requirements, repair material requirements and selection, bonding agents and proper repair techniques. Current International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) standards are referenced and many case studies are discussed, including parking decks, bridges, highways and slabs on ground. Cathodic protection will also be addressed.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the attendee will be able to:
1.The basic issues that cause concrete to fail
2.Owner requirements, including good, better and best approach to materials and cost
3.Substrate prep, including the various methods to properly prepare concrete for repair
4.Compatibility and performance characteristics of bonding and repair materials
5.Proper curing and protection of in-place repairs
