General Information

Summary:	This training program was developed to standardize SEMP lead internal auditor training and to provide consistent training to all lead auditors. The course trains PennDOT maintenance personnel who are currently qualified SEMP Internal Auditors to become SEMP lead Internal Auditors. The program provides training in how to plan, perform, report, and close audits. Attendees will learn how to work with their District SEMP Manager to plan the audit and then audit to their plan. They will learn how to manage an audit team and will be instructed on the preparation of the audit report and issuance of corrective actions.
Learning Outcomes:	Upon Successful completion of this course, an attendee will be able to perform the following Auditing skills: a. Plan a SEMP Internal Audit b. Manage an Internal Audit Team c. Prepare an Internal Audit Report d. Issue Corrective Actions e. Close Corrective Actions *Qualify as a Lead Auditor for the SEMO Internal Audit Program
