Description:
Lesson 6 - Inspection Logistics - discusses how to schedule and prepare for a construction stormwater inspection.

This is the sixth in a series of lessons in the training module for Construction Stormwater Inspections (CSI) that PennDOT performs as part of its Compliance Management Program (CMP). It is mandatory for construction inspectors who perform visual site inspections of erosion and sediment pollution control measures on projects that require coverage under a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit for Discharges of Stormwater Associated with Construction Activities.

Course Type Objectives Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Identify items to collect before you begin a CSI.
- Schedule CSIs in accordance with permit requirements.
- Differentiate data organization for small and large projects.
- Determine areas of emphasis for a CSI.

Important Information:
In order to receive credit for completion of the lesson, the participant must successfully answer one or more questions at the end of the lesson and (for consultants) follow instructions to submit their results to PennDOT.
