General Information

Summary:
Radiographic Testing – Level II focuses on the advanced techniques of Radiographic Testing (RT). The course includes classroom time as well as hands-on application of this Nondestructive testing technique. Training meets the minimum recommended for Level II technicians by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT).

Learning Outcomes:
This is a five (5) day course (40.0 hours). Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to safely witness Radiography, understand applicable Code requirements, interpret radiographs and determine that good radiographic practices are being used by suppliers.

This is Prerequisite For:
Radiographic Testing – Level III

Target Audience:
District Structural Control Engineers, Bridge Design and Technology Division and Structural Materials Testing personnel, Asset Management Bridge Inspection personnel
