Ctr-PPCC (sharepoint) and was revised to include all the material offered in prior webinar series (Portal, Submittal and Workflow), in a classroom setting.&nbsp; Hours of instruction and PDH's were changed to reflect a total of 4 each. Objectives were minimally changed.</p>

General Information

Summary:
PennDOT Project Collaboration Center (PPCC) training will be a two-day computer-based training for the following job areas: Construction Inspection, Construction Management, Labor Compliance Contract Management, Project Management and Traffic Signals. This training would also be beneficial for Consultant Managers acting on behalf of PennDOT, Prime Contractors and Sub-contractors associated with PennDOT Highway and Bridge Construction Projects, Assistant Construction Engineers (ACE's) and Structure Control Engineers. The course is an application-oriented course that provides the PPCC users with the knowledge of how to use portal and project navigation along with workflow process.

Learning Outcomes:
• How to access the PPCC
• Understand the differences between the Portal site and the Project site
• How to create submittal types and workflows at the Portal and Project Site
• How to add roles and users to roles at Portal and Project Site
• How to create a File Folder structure
• How to create a new Project site within PPCC
• How to add roles and users to roles
• How to generate a PennDOT submittal for PennDOT review
• How to review submittals in the work queue
• How to attach and manage documents in submittals
• Understand submittal notifications
• How to review overall project status
• How to prepare reports
• How to upload and manage documents it the Project Files
• How to locate documents using Search

Target Audience:
Construction Inspection, Construction Management, Contract Management, Project Management, Traffic Signals as well as any Consultant Manager acting on behalf of PennDOT. Prime Contracts and Sub-contractors associated with PennDOT Highway and Bridge Construction Projects, Assistant Construction Engineers (ACE's), Structure Control Engineers, Materials Engineers, Traffic Control Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, Permit Unit Managers, and Inspectors-in-charge.
