Learning Outcomes: | - Identify the differences between real and personal property. - Describe the three types of legal descriptions: Metes and Bounds, Lot and Block, and Government Survey. - Compute land areas in the English and Metric systems. - Identify and describe the various types of estates in real property. - Identify and describe the various types of deeds and the clauses within. - Identify the four governmental powers: Escheat, Eminent Domain, Police Power, and Taxation. - Identify the various types of real estate contracts. - Compute real estate taxes and tax peroration. - Identify what line items are needed on the settlement statement, describe their purpose, and perform computations. - Describe brokerage laws of agency. - For property inspections, identify environmental hazards and properties that qualify as decent, safe, and sanitary
