General Information

Summary:	District 3-0 in the past two years has experienced damage from severe weather, such as Flood Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. These storms resulted in dramatic damage in District 3-0. The Webinar will provide information on the post-storm damage assessment performed and the subsequent recovery efforts, including design and construction. Immediate maintenance requirements will also be discussed. Lessons learned will be shared to assist other Districts that may experience similar severe damage.
Learning Outcomes:	Upon successful completion of this course, the attendee will: 1. Explain the follow-up damage assessment required. 2. Discuss the immediate maintenance requirements at a high level. 3. Present the lessons learned on damage recovery.
Target Audience:	All professional licensees in PennDOT and anyone interested in learning about Damage Assessment and Recovery Overview.
