General Information

Summary:
This course will teach Department Relocation and Negotiation Policies and Procedures as they apply to non-complex claims.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this training, a participant will be able to:
. Explain the laws and regulations controlling the acquisition and relocation process.
. Describe basic department policies controlling acquisition.
. Explain property owners' rights during negotiations for the acquisition of their real property.
. Associate the relocation benefits available to various classes of relocates.
. Determine a claimant's eligibility for relocation benefits.
. Compute a basic replacement-housing supplement offer and payment.
. Compute a basic rent supplement offer and payment.

This is Prerequisite For:
This course IS A prerequisite to the Advanced Relocation and Negotiation training.

Target Audience:
Real Estate Specialists as the primary attendee, followed by Real Estate Technicians. ROW Consultants are also invited to attend.
