General Information

Summary:
This course is designed to summarize the submission requirements of typical permits used by Department of Transportation maintenance employees in the performance of bridge replacement and other projects requiring stream encroachment or obstructions. It is intended to be an overview of the application process and will discuss some of the similarities and differences between the uses and applications for the EXX-9999; GP-3, -5, -7, -8, and -11; and the PASPGP-3 permits. It is the intent of this Webinar to provide those individuals responsible for preparing these permit applications with insight into time required to complete the permits, the review/approval time, and some of the general use differences between the permits.

Learning Outcomes:
Attendees will obtain an understanding of:
•The general uses of the permits and differences between
the various maintenance permits
•Some of the limitations of use of these routine
maintenance permits
•Understanding of the application requirements and level of
efforts necessary for a permit application submittal
•The average review and approval time for a permit application
