General Information

Summary:	PennDOT employs a systematic approach for compliance with the asbestos inspection and notification requirements of the National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) Act for bridge demolition and rehabilitation projects. This training is designed to provide District staff the procedures for the identification, inspection, and reporting of those bridges scheduled for demolition and rehabilitation in the upcoming calendar year, pursuant to the Department Policy.
Learning Outcomes:	Understand the requirements of the policy. Understand the Bridge Management System asbestos data coding. Understand the findings of asbestos bridge inspections and how the List A, B, or C are categorized.
