General Information

Summary:
This webinar will focus on two new durability-enhancing admixtures for concrete:
A crack-reducing admixture and a microsphere-based admixture for freeze-thaw protection of concrete. Topics to be covered will include the mechanisms by which these two admixtures function, their effects on the fresh and hardened properties of concrete, and case histories highlighting their use in the field.

Learning Outcomes:
This webinar will provide participants with a thorough understanding of:
1.The crack-reducing admixture and how it differs from traditional shrinkagereducing
admixtures;
2.Potential applications for the crack-reducing admixture;
3.The microsphere-based admixture for freeze-thaw durability and its unique
advantages compared to the use of surfactant-based (air-entraining) admixtures.
