General Information
Summary:
This course will cover Design Manual 3, include right-of-way and construction plan excercises. The course will be targeting bridge and highway design squad leaders responsible for the uniformity in the preparation of all Department plans.
Accuracy and completeness of all Department plans are essential for the fair and equitable compensation of right-of-way, and for enabling Contractors to submit a sound, and equitable bid for a project.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course the participants will be able to improve their ability to promote uniformity and accurance in the preparation of all Department plans in accordance with Publication 14M (Design Manual Part 3).
Target Audience:
Highway, Bridge and Structural Design, ADE Design, District Portfolio Managers, Project Managers and Plan Engineers
Special Materials:
Participants should bring a copy of Publication 14M (Design Manual Part 3).
