General Information

Summary:
The Design Project Manager's Meeting is intended to provide a valuable opportunity for the District Project Managers and the Bureau of Project Delivery's Highway Delivery Division (HDD) to discuss various project development and project management policies and issues. HDD Staff will present on various topics including: MASH standards for guiderail, DM-2 rewrite, revised Design Exception policy, revised Points of Access policy, performance based design, New Intersection Control Evaluation policy, Roundabouts and innovative intersections & interchanges, various Standards and Criteria updates, Pavement Design issues, H&H issues as well as, other Design issues, Environmental Policy issues, Contract Management issues, Right-of-way & Utility issues, ADA issues and Scheduling and Estimating issues.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion, the participant should have a better understanding of the areas discussed and be better prepared to manage high quality highway projects and oversee their development.
