General Information

Summary:
The Geometry Module will provide an understanding of how to layout and manipulate horizontal and vertical geometry for highway design projects through course lecture and multiple exercises.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, a participant will be able to demonstrate moderate skill level in:
* Understanding the MicroStation / InRoads environment, file management, and InRoads Locks & preferences.
* Creating and editing horizontal alignments.
* Creating and editing vertical alignments.
* Creating and editing cogo points.
* Stationing and general annotation.
* Cross Sections and Profiles.

Prerequisites:
Knowledge of Highway Design and Microstation.

Target Audience:
CADD Workstation users presently using InRoads Version 8.
