General Information

Summary:
Instruction includes theory, completion of forms and an in-field exercise of collecting data.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:1.
Identify the information required for collection of Perishable Crash
Data.2. Complete the associated forms required for a Perishable Crash
Data report.3. Perform an in-field report to collect the actual
Perishable Crash data.

Prerequisites:
Knows PennDOT's operating procedures, understands roadway location parameters, follows PennDOT's safety rules, works independently and makes independent decisions, adapts easily to unique situations, and can use photographic equipment (digital camera).

Target Audience:
PennDOT employees only. Roadway Program Technicians,
Roadway Program Coordinators, Highway Maintenance Foreman, Assistant
County Managers, and District Risk Manager.
