General Information

Summary:
The webinar will provide an overview of where PennDOT is as it pertains to the implementation of roundabouts throughout the state. It will also include the safety and operational benefits of roundabouts, the public perception of roundabouts and some design and construction specific information. The current national roundabout guidance is NCHRP Report 672, Roundabouts An Informational Guide, Second Edition.
The webinar will be presented by Jeff Bucher, P.E. Jeff is a Professional Engineer with the Department of Transportation in the Bureau of Project Delivery. He is a Project Development Engineer and the State Roundabout Coordinator. He has been with the Department for 28 years, primarily in Highway Design. He graduated from Penn State in 1989 with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
