General Information

Summary:
Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) is an optical remote sensing technology used to create “point clouds” commonly used in transportation related engineering, planning and construction. The webinar will discuss airborne, static and mobile LiDAR systems and how each type of technology might benefit PennDOT projects and become a beneficial addition to an overall project topographic survey. Specific PennDOT projects utilizing these technologies will be discussed.
