General Information

Summary:
This is the second course in a two-part series on highway stormwater design and permitting. This course offers a complete review of PA DEP Chapter 102 earth disturbance permits (NPDES and E&S) in the context of PennDOT construction projects. Moreover, the course provides instructions on how to navigate PA DEP’s Keystone Environmental ePermitting System (KEeS).

Learning Outcomes:
1. Determine when a PA DEP Chapter 102 permit is required for a PennDOT project.
2. Identify the required information for all parts of Chapter 102 permits.
3. Create and complete a Chapter 102 permit application in KEeS.
