Construction Inspection Materials Testing

Description:	This is a self study course that will provide an overview of the procedures one will use to sample and testing materials on a PennDOT project. This course is part of a series of TA-TCI self study modules intended for new inspectors with 0-1 year of experience on a PennDOT project. Learning Objectives include: -Relate the importance of sampling and testing. -List materials that must be tested. -Describe lab and field testing procedures. -Specify contractor and inspector roles in materials sampling and testing. -Describe random sampling and its importance in sampling and testing. -List the forms used in sampling and testing. In order to receive credit for completion of the module, the participant must pass a final quiz built into the module and follow the instructions to submit their results to PennDOT.
