Summary: | The Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 as amended (Uniform Act) ensures that persons whose real property is acquired or who are displaced as a result of a Federal or Federally-assisted project are treated fairly and consistently. This course focuses on the application of appraisal review principles and how they fit within the Uniform Act and 49 CFR Part 24 as related to transportation project development. Focusing on larger parcel, uneconomic remnants, cost to cure, and severance damages, the course discusses the qualifications, roles, and responsibilities of the review appraiser from pre- to post-appraisal activities.
