Summary:
Value Engineering (VE) is the process of reviewing and analyzing a project to provide recommendations for reducing the overall cost and timeframes to complete the project, while providing the needed highway improvements. This webinar provides information on Value Engineering in Design, such as the policy, phases of VE and the process of completing VE. Reporting on the VE process will also be discussed. Examples of VE will also be provided.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, the attendee will be able to:
1. Explain Value Engineering in the Design Phase.
2. List the Phases to complete Value Engineering.
3. Discuss the reporting requirements of Value Engineering.
