Summary:
This webinar will help participants address the need for guide rail systems and terminals, their performance capabilities, and the selection, design, and layout parameters that ensure an optimal barrier installation.

Learning Outcomes:
Determine when a traffic barrier is the best treatment to use at a specific site.
Ensure that the barrier selected will adequately shield the identified hazard.
Assess the topography of the site to ensure an optimal installation.

Teaching Method:
This is a Webinar.

Prerequisites:
Basic working knowledge of roadside barriers and crashworthy end terminals.

Target Audience:
PENNDOT Designers, PA Turnpike, LTAP participants, business partners (consulting community)
