General Information

Summary:
The objectives of this training are to provide the participant knowledge of concrete pavement beyond fundamentals, focusing on the affects of concrete materials on construction practices and service life. The training also covers common practices of concrete overlays.
The course includes discussions on state-of-practice and state-of-the-art technologies, concrete properties, materials, mix proportioning, production, construction and trouble shooting. The IMCP and Concrete Overlay documents were developed under the guidance of Technical Overview Committees that consisted of State DOT, FHWA, academia, and industry

Target Audience:
Individuals with pavement design and construction responsibilities (Assistant District Executives, Pavement Engineers, District Materials Engineers, Assistant Construction Engineers, and Program Managers). Also, contractors, engineering consultants, materials suppliers, quality control personnel, and technicians
